To check out, simply lock your door with your room card and then slide the card (and laundry card, if applicable) under the door. A UWinnipeg Downtown Hostel staff member will retrieve these items after you leave. A $25 charge applies for each unreturned card.
Booking Changes and Cancellation
At the hostel we understand that a guest’s plans may change. That is why we don’t charge a cancellation fee for reservations canceled a minimum of 72 hours in advance of the arrival date. If a reservation is canceled less than 72 hours in advance of the arrival date, the total of one night’s stay plus taxes will be charged to the guest’s credit card.
Reservations shortened after the scheduled arrival date are subject to a fee equal to the total of one night’s stay plus taxes.
Note that refunds can take up to 4-6 weeks to process and cannot be issued via credit card, due to University refund processes.
UWinnipeg Downtown Hostel is part of the University of Winnipeg. For this reason, our guests must abide by policies set forth by The University of Winnipeg and the Campus Living department.
Hostel Guest Agreement
By signing this document upon check-in, you agree to abide by all the policies set within the Hostel Contract.
